Hi Saffron, I came from the video "Why UBI Won't Save Us from AI (And What Might)." This post really caught my eye, as it has been really bugging me lately that the UX of modern coding agents still feels incredibly flimsy. Simple iterations in my prompts, steering the agent in specific directions, give me orders of magnitude of improvements. This feels absurd - surely a good "initial" prompt from the creators would have covered all such cases?

I was curious about your thoughts on this matter, and specifically if you knew why the UX of such agents did not seem to improve significantly in 2025.
